Air Astana announced the results for the first quarter of the Zhas Kyran Program

In the first month, April, Arthur Kim, a high school student from Aktobe, received a free flight to Hanover to attend the International Physical Olympiad. Arthur and his team won a number of awards at the Olympiad and Arthur even won a bronze medal. May’s winner was Diana Tynyshtyk, a middle school student from Astana. With her travel grant she will be attending a chess tournament – the Summer Prague Open 2023, in Prague.  

In June, the panel selected four winners:

1) Matvey Rybalkin (Almaty)

2) Daria Motorova (Aktobe)

3) Yana Kim (Kyzylorda)

4) Margarita Nam (Kyzylorda).

Air Astana wants to remind individuals that only applications completed to the needed requirements (https://airastana.com/kaz/en-us/About-Us/Overview/Corporate-Responsibility) are eligible for participation at the Zhas Kyran programme. The competition/contest applicant is willing to attend must have an international status. Past merits of applicants are also taken into account at the selection process. All applications are reviewed by an independent panel consisting of six professionals from education, charity and journalism sectors. The winners are determined by a majority vote.
