Air Astana has issued its 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, which highlights the airline’s actions in the fields of environmental protection, supporting charitable causes and contributing to the Kazakh economy. The report is intended to generate greater public awareness of Air Astana’s wider contribution to society and commitment to support organisations and individuals in need.

Air Astana’s selection of the latest generation of jet airliners which offer greater fuel efficiency and lower emissions greatly contributes to a reduction in the impact on the environment.

With more than 4,600 people working for Air Astana and the company remaining profitable since launch in 2002, it continues to contribute significant tax revenues to the government.

“As a high profile and influential company operating in Kazakhstan and around the world, Air Astana takes Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously and is fully committed to a long term programme of actions that benefit society in general and those in need particularly,” said Peter Foster, President of Air Astana President.
