Air Astana will allocate five sponsorships every month this year for Kazakhstan children to participate in sporting, intellectual and other competitions outside the country. The sponsorship  comes in the form of round-trip flight tickets for each child and an accompanying person.

“Air Astana’s social sphere projects are almost entirely aimed at developing the potential of our citizens, including those of our talented young people," said Bella Tormysheva, Vice President for Corporate Communications. “The new Zhas Kyran social project specifically aims to support talented young people in various areas including sports, arts, science and other disciplines.”

Applications for sponsorships are limited to citizens of Kazakhstan, aged between seven and seventeen years, who have received official invitations to participate in overseas competitions and contests. Applications must be submitted to zhaskyran@airastana.com at least two months before the planned trip. All applications will be reviewed by an independent jury comprised of professionals from education, charity and journalism.
