Air Astana increases flight frequency to Moscow
Air Astana is increasing flight frequencies between Kazakhstan and Moscow, with two services a week on Wednesdays and Sundays now operating from Nur-Sultan and a once-a-week service on Fridays from Almaty resuming on 5th February 2021.
Air Astana is increasing flight frequencies between Kazakhstan and Moscow, with two services a week on Wednesdays and Sundays now operating from Nur-Sultan and a once-a-week service on Fridays from Almaty resuming on 5th February 2021.
Services to Moscow will be operated by Boeing B767 widebody aircraft, which are configured with 30 seats in Business class and 193 seats in Economy class.
Due to government restrictions, only Russian and Kazakhstan citizens, as well as individuals with valid residence permits are currently permitted to enter Russia.
Citizens of Kazakhstan and passengers with a Russian residence permit are required to complete a form and have a negative PCR test certificate at least three days before the flight. Citizens of Russia need to complete the form which is available on the portal of state services prior departure and have a PCR test within 3 days of arrival in the Russian Federation, which also needs to be submitted via the portal.
Transit passengers are allowed into the transit zone for only 24 hours. The PCR test for transit passengers is mandatory. Children are not exempt of this requirement. More information is available on the Air Astana website.
