A new call centre was opened in Pavlodar which has become the airline's third call centre, along with branches in Almaty and Astana. The opening of the call centre comes with the celebration of the airline's 21st birthday.
The creation of the centre is in line with the company's ESG policy and aims to create new jobs in the cities of Kazakhstan and providing career opportunities for the largest employer and taxpayer.
“The launch of the call centre in Pavlodar is an important part of the airline's policy on the socio-economic development of the regions and improving its competitiveness. We offer local specialists the opportunity to build a career and develop together with Air Astana, creating the necessary working conditions similar to our offices in Astana and Almaty," said Adel Dauletbek, Vice-President of Marketing and Sales of Air Astana.
Pavlodar was chosen for the regional call centre due to a large base of candidates with excellent service skills and knowledge of the state and foreign languages. At the beginning of the year, the airline held a selection of future employees in Pavlodar. Following this, 11 applicants successfully completed training with a team of qualified trainers and started employment with Air Astana. In the future, the airline plans to increase the number of employees of the Pavlodar call centre to 60 people.
The opening of a new call centre meets the requirements of time and the company's desire to constantly improve its service. Every day, the airline receives more than 2,500 calls through all communication channels, of which 80% are via telephone.
