Air Astana Receives CIS Business Leader Award

Air Astana has proudly received this year's "CIS Business Leader” Award for its contribution to the economic integration and development of CIS member states.

Air Astana has proudly received this year's "CIS Business Leader” Award for its contribution to the economic integration and development of CIS member states. The award ceremony was held at the International Economic Forum of CIS member states in Moscow on xxth March 2015 and was attended government and business leaders, scientific experts and the media.

The "CIS Business Leader" Award was launched at the CIS Business Leaders Forum on 27th February 2009, as part of the process of implementing the CIS Economic Development Strategy through until 2020. THE "CIS Business Leader” Award is presented annually, with winners drawn from amongst companies, organizations and individuals from CIS member states that have made a significant contribution to the implementation and integration of innovative projects.

The annual gathering represents an opportunity for dialogue aimed at overcoming the barriers to economic integration in the CIS.
