Air Astana, Kazakhstan’s leading airline, has won The Best Annual Report by a Foreign Company at the XVIII Annual Report Competition organised by Moscow Stock Market and RCB Media Group, with the award ceremony being held in Moscow last week. The award demonstrates compliance with the highest standards of information disclosure, operational transparency and commitment to the world’s best practices in corporate governance.

The competition has been held on an annual basis since 1998 and is one of the most significant Investor Relations events of the year in Russia. Its mission is to encourage heightened standards of business information and strategy presentation to shareholders, as well as identify the latest trends and best practices in the design and structure of annual reports in Russia and beyond.
