In summer 2022, Air Astana resumes flights between Hanover and Kostanay

Air Astana, the award-winning national airline of Kazakhstan, has just announced that it will resume its summer service between Hanover and Kostanay, one of the largest industrial and cultural centres in northern Kazakhstan, next year.

Air Astana, the award-winning national airline of Kazakhstan, has just announced that it will resume its summer service between Hanover and Kostanay, one of the largest industrial and cultural centres in northern Kazakhstan, next year. From 14 May till 4 September 2022, the airline will offer nonstop flights each Saturday and Sunday, which will be operated by an Airbus A320 with 28 seats in Business Class and 151 seats in Economy Class. Among other things, Air Astana has set up this service for visiting relatives and friends, as many people with Kazakh roots are living in Lower Saxony and the neighbouring federal states.

“We are delighted that we will resume our seasonal service between Hanover and Kostanay in summer 2022,” said Sven Gossow, Country Manager Germany, Austria & Switzerland at Air Astana. “Thus, we underline the importance of the German market and, at the same time, offer our customers another choice to travel to Kazakhstan. In addition to our flights to Nur-Sultan, Atyrau and Uralsk from Frankfurt, the route from Hanover has become an important service, especially for visiting friends and relatives – something that was not possible at all or only with difficulties during the past one and a half year.”

Flight KC 924 departs from Hanover at 2:55pm and arrives in Kostanay at 11:50pm local time. Return flight KC 923 takes off from Kostanay at 12:50pm and lands in Hanover at 1:55pm. For this service Air Astana offers attractive early booking fares. The flights for summer 2022 are available in the reservation systems with immediate effect.
